HRIS Product Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Come join our award-winning Customer Support team at Personnel Data Systems (PDS)!
We have a Customer Support Specialist opening providing front-line support to our growing customer base for our VistaHRMS suite of products.
Support is provided primarily by telephone and internet connectivity. As a VistaHRMS HR, Benefits and Payroll Support Specialist, you are part of a team of professionals that play a key role in supporting our VistaHRMS suite of products providing in-depth analysis and timely resolutions/workarounds for client-escalated issues.
The Customer Support Specialist position requires sharp analysis, problem determination, and troubleshooting skills. The qualified candidate possesses broad experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations, in a professional, timely, and thorough manner. Qualified candidates are self-starters and highly-motivated to provide excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding quality customer support with a high degree of customer satisfaction, technical expertise, thorough and timely response to customers.
Perform excellent analysis, problem determination and troubleshooting skills with the ability to know when to escalate an issue.
Call ownership from initial customer contact to call resolution which includes supporting escalations if appropriate and providing customer updates.
Enter and maintain customer call problem/description detail integrity in call tracking system.
Consistently model the highest levels of support orientation and professionalism.
Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge of relevant product offerings, current support policies, and methods of support delivery, in order to provide accurate solutions to end users.
Follow-up with customers on all open tickets to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in support rotation to provide emergency after hours customer support.
Requirements/Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems/Applications as well as communication applications, and Microsoft SQL Server a plus.
Experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations.
Ability to multitask.
Excellent positive customer service skills.
Positive team participation skills.
