Start your "wish list" now!

Gather your ideas throughout the year!

When you have a good idea for a vacation, a new book to read or maybe a restaurant you want to try, you probably make a note so you will remember when the time comes to try out that new restaurant or book.

Why don't you do the same thing with your ideas for Vista? You know, the ideas that come to you and you say "I wish Vista would do this", or "I wish Vista would look like this". When this happens, jot it down and you will be ready with your ideas when the conference comes around in September.

There are lots of ways you can keep track of your ideas. I keep a folder in Outlook and whenever I have an idea or one of my coworkers has an idea we type a quick email and then I drag it into the folder.

Someone else might find keeping a draft email message that can be added to whenever a new "wish" pops into your mind beneficial. Those of you with a Blackberry may want to keep a note that you can add to whenever an idea hits you. Of course, there is the ever useful manila folder option, where notes and print screens can be added.

Whatever method you want to use, start collecting those Vista ideas now. That way you will be prepared to bring your ideas to the User Conference this fall and participate in one our most popular conference events, the brainstorming round tables.
