'The solution sharing, brainstorming, and networking experience could never be documented or captured in any other format. The PDS UGA Conference is a must-do to take any implementation to the next level.'

At the conference we gathered feedback from our attendees by collecting overall evaluation forms as well as individual session and workshop evaluation forms. Overall evaluations indicated that attendees were quite pleased with the conference content. Based upon what we heard, we suggest that you budget NOW for next years' conference!

In the next few months the Steering Committee will review the detailed feedback and begin plans for the next conference event. We will carefully review and consider your feedback in our planning.

Below are some highlights from the overall evaluation forms.

What area of the organization do you represent?

How many PDS UGA conferences have you attended?

What three conference attributes were most beneficial to you?

Please rate your overall conference experience.

'I thought this year’s conference was great!  Thanks to you and your staff for all the hard work and time that went into making it such a success!'

'Being new to Vista HRMS, the 2010 conference was a huge benefit for AECI. Not only did we get to personally interact with the folks we had only talked to on the phone previously, but we also got to meet other customers who have faced the same challenges that we are facing. The contacts we made with other customers was valuable enough by itself to make it worth the trip. We have already received some customized code from another customer to help us with a specific security requirement in our system.

The brainstorming sessions were great to be able to share our enhancement ideas and see them make it to the “wish list” for later versions. I feel like we really have a say in the direction that the software is going.

The seminars and workshops also got us excited about the number of ways that we can make AECI more efficient and effective by using the tools that PDS provides. Seeing real-world examples of customizations demonstrated by actual users (sometimes non-technical users) was encouraging as we look at changing our processes and ultimately our culture using this system.  Sometimes we are concerned about the amount of “fluff” at these conferences. This conference definitely consisted of a lot of “meat” for us to learn more about the system and generate ideas for how we can leverage it better.

The only drawback from our perspective was the limited amount of time to meet one-on-one in the Vista HRMS Solutions Center.

In addition, the PDS staff and user group members are a fun bunch to be around. I definitely look forward to attending the next conference.'
