Founded

PDS founded by Steve Brody and headquartered in Conshohocken, PA.

Developed first personnel/benefits software system, PASS (Personnel, Accounting, Skills System).

Developed its first integrated HR/Payroll/Benefits mainframe-based system PASS/ACCU-PAY.

Expanded Delivery

Expanded delivery of PASS/ACCU-PAY to mini-computer environments such as Hewlett Packard (HP), Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), IBM System 38, IBM AS/400, and Data General.

PDS was the first to introduce our integrated HR/Payroll solution to micro-computer environments so that smaller organizations could leverage our capabilities.

Rapid Access Payroll System

Introduced RAPS (Rapid Access Payroll System) a new delivery method that provides a service bureau option to PDS customers (a forerunner of today’s SaaS delivery).
