Steve Fitzgerald is an accomplished executive with over 35 years of expertise in leading high-tech software organizations at the startup, growth, and exit stages. He has experience in a variety of industries, including Human Capital Management (HCM), Healthcare, Telecom, and Education. Throughout his career, Steve has been adept at developing strategies, building high-performance teams, achieving operational objectives, and positioning companies for acquisition.

With over 20 years of experience at PDS, Steve’s leadership has positioned PDS for continued innovation and growth. His passion for customer satisfaction, teamwork, and excellence reflects his commitment to achieving happy customers. His strategic vision and industry knowledge ensure that PDS remains at the forefront of the HCM industry.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Steve enjoys playing golf and ice hockey and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Rick Austin

Vice President, Engineering

With over three decades of experience in software and systems engineering leadership, Rick brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Vice President of Engineering. His career encompasses a diverse range of industries, from startups to global enterprises, including defense, telecommunications, finance, and healthcare. Rick is renowned for his ability to build and lead high-performing teams in the design, development and operations of advanced, high-scale cloud platform-oriented systems, built to meet the requirements of the most demanding workloads.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rick finds fulfillment in exploring the world alongside his wife, savoring the nuances of coffee, and avidly following Formula 1 racing.

Brian Rivers

Director of Professional Services

As the Director of Professional Services, Brian leads a team of talented and highly tenured Implementation Specialists, Project Managers and Account Managers on PDS implementations and account management. Brian brings a unique perspective to PDS, as he was a PDS customer before becoming part of the team in 2017.

Brian is married with two boys who play a variety of sports and enjoys traveling and reading in his spare time.

Charles Jeffries

Director of Customer Support

As Director of Customer Support, Charles leads a team of product specialists dedicated to exceptional service across all aspects of the company’s offerings. With more than 20 years of experience at PDS and a strong foundation in business administration and computer science, he combines deep industry knowledge with proven leadership to drive effective solutions and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.

Beyond his professional role, Charles is passionate about fitness, history, science fiction, and photography.

Dwight White

Director of Quality Assurance and Release Management

Dwight has been with PDS for 18 years. In position as Director of QA and Release Management he works closely with both the Customer Support team and the PDS Engineering team to ensure all facets of the Vista product are working smoothly. Dwight assists in the development and testing of new features as well as manage and test modifications to the system to alleviate any client issues reported to the Customer Support Department.

When not working, Dwight enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.

Josie Tornetta

Director of Accounting

As the Director of Accounting, Josie is responsible for leading and coordinating the day-to-day financial activities while working hands on with the Accounting team.

Her responsibilities also include managing Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll duties. Her more than 20 years of experience at PDS provides her with an in-depth knowledge of the infrastructure across PDS.

Outside of work, Josie enjoys long walks on the beach, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Rachel Taubenberger

Manager of Customer Success

As Manager of Customer Success, Rachel leads the strategy and execution of customer engagement initiatives designed to drive long-term value, retention, and growth for PDS customers. With more than 20 years of marketing leadership experience, she brings a customer-first mindset and deep expertise in communications, brand strategy, and lifecycle engagement to the customer success function. Rachel partners closely with internal teams to ensure customers are supported, informed, and positioned for success.

Outside of her professional role, Rachel enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
