Lee County Government Goes Live on PDS' Vista HRMS 4.1

15-Year Client Leverages PDS' Software for Four Government Agencies

Blue Bell, Pa., September 13, 2010 – PDS, a leading developer of human resource, benefits, recruiting and payroll systems, today announced that Lee County Government in Southwest Florida has gone live on its Vista HRMS ® version 4.1. A PDS client since 1993, Lee County Clerk of Courts uses Vista HRMS to host payroll, HR and benefits for four government agencies, including the Southwest Florida International Airport, Lee County Government, Administration Office of the Court and its own organization; as well as benefits for 10 non-payroll agencies. The PDS Vista HRMS solution manages and tracks more than 11,000 current and former employees in the HR application and runs payroll for over 3,500 active employees.

With the PDS on-premise solution, the Lee County Clerk was able to handle the upgrade to Vista HRMS version 4.1 with internal resources. Fenton added that “With the toolsets PDS provides, upgrades to Vista HRMS are easy and cost effective. Owning the software gives us more control and enables us to easily configure and manage it ourselves. This is an important advantage over software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions where we would have no ownership or control. We look forward to continuing our long-term partnership with PDS.”
