With so many organizations disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, PDS and the PDS User Group Steering Committee have reassessed our ability to successfully conduct an in-person conference this September. Between the corporate financial consequences that have caused some PDS customers to furlough staff and others to implement across-the-board pay cuts as well as travel restrictions; and the personal concerns that exist about gathering in large groups or getting on an airplane; it is clear that the fallout from COVID-19 will continue into the fall.
Our conference host hotel, The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth, in Fort Worth, Texas has agreed to allow us to move the PDS UGA Conference event to October 5-8, 2021, with only a $5 room rate increase. We have updated our website to reflect the date and rate changes for the PDS User Group Association 2021 Conference. Use this link to visit the PDS User Group Association (UGA) website to learn more about our conference event, and join us for this educational event where we will help you focus on “Steering Vista into the Future!” On the website, you will find information about the UGA conference location, highlights of the event, conference agenda, session descriptions, conference registration, as well as hotel registration details.
This summer, we hope to announce a virtual conference offering that provides interactive sessions and workshops, but we still have much to organize before publishing further details.
